I think you're the only qualified cook in this kitchen. Hey! Welcome to Cooked from OpenAI. I'm Dani. I'm Alex. And today, we have a lot of things on the menu. Dots, chat with T-spaces, and many other things from OpenAI Deaf Day we want to try ourselves. How confident are we in this recipe? I think we're pretty confident. I took a bunch of pictures of all the ingredients and sent them to my dot, and I think he is on the task. So, let's see how this turns out. Speaking about dots. Dot is your always-on persistent agent. In this case, our dot has been running in the background, running interference for us for checking in guests, sending emails, and of course, putting this recipe together. Now, there was another big launch at DevDay, and that was Codex Cloud. Codex Cloud lets you work inside the cloud in your own environment that you and your team can fully set up and customize so that you can close your laptop. The other thing I'm really excited about is Spaces. Spaces gives your dot a place to actually write its thoughts and a place for you to collaborate with your dot. He has everything in his space right now that he's preparing for us, and we're just going to look at the space, follow the steps, and see what happens. Before we continue cooking, a word from our sponsors. Our sponsor. Introducing the refreshed Codex CLI. A new full-screen look. Keep tabs on your agents. Fork a conversation into a separate work tree. And now, talk to your terminal. How do we cook like no site's ever cooked before? I love the energy. Let's invent, not imitate. Update and keep cooking. Please consult your existing site projects before starting another. We're back, and we have our sous chef here with us. Oh, the Chaos Twins return. Welcome back to Cooked, where Alex and Danny pretend they know where the ginger is. That's not very nice. That's not nice at all. It's nicer than your nice skills, but not by much. Let's make this room before your coffee. Can you just walk us through this recipe for today? We don't know how to cook. Okay, chef. Resetting. Let's identify those decanted seasonings. What's this one? You want to pass it to me? I think this is paprika. All right. I checked out the seasoning. That is definitely chili. Okay, excellent. Get those eggs simmering about 11 to 12 minutes. We'll ice them after. Chop two garlic cloves. We'll warm garlic and ginger in a touch of oil. No browning. All right, so our sous chef here is powered by GPT Live 1, which is our frontier model for voice, and it is a full duplex model, which means that when I trail off like this or say, um, it actually doesn't interrupt me. Right, chef? Yeah. I was waiting my turn. Gold star for not talking over you. Okay, back to the stove. All right. Let's do it. We'll do it. Matthew, you've been following us as we've been cooking here. How do you think we're doing? Yeah, it's pretty good so far. Definitely looks like ramen. Thanks. Thanks. I think Brian's here somewhere too, right? Yeah, I'm here. Oh my God. I was in the kitchen basement. So Dots came out last week. We've been using it a ton. We want to hear how you guys have been using your Dots. Yeah, I mean, the first thing I did was obviously connected to all the different services I use. Last night before filming, we got emails of instructions. You know, I was in bed and it popped up with a message saying, hey, you just got this email. You probably should know about it for your film tomorrow. So it's been great. Guys, we have a challenge for you. Have you heard of One Shot? Absolutely. You guys are going to one shot these shots, which is ingredients from the kitchen, fresh ginger. And then you are going to build a game with Ultra Fast on the new mod retros. Are you ready? Here we go. Let's do it. All right. Cheers, man. Let's do it. Okay, we're going to make a game. Okay, we want to make a ramen simulator game for the mod retro. And we want it to be obviously a bit. Give me a character select screen where I can choose any of the dots. The goal of the game is to collect the different ingredients, put it all together, and make the best bowl of ramen possible. Hey, it's moving. Yeah, we're getting there. You can say we're cooking. All right, Matt, you want to keep chopping the garlic? Absolutely. Thank you, thank you. I think you're the only qualified cook in this kitchen. I am far from it. Actually, I don't know about you, Brian. No, no, no, no. Don't even ask. If we're ready, we've got it going. We have the emulator running here. We have a dialogue option. Okay, gather in the fridge, cooktop, okay. Get in front of that fridge. Come on. Yes, there we go. You got the ingredients. Fresh ingredients, noodles and miso broth. Soft egg, mushroom, chashu pork. You got to get that soft egg, man. And I went for the chashu shark. For the broth, are we doing a gentle boil or a rolling boil? It's rolling for me. Okay, rolling it in. All right. Stir clockwise. This mod retro and like pixelization presentation, it makes me feel both that I'm in the future and the past. A little overdone. Still tasty. Hey, you're not Danny. No, I'm Fede. I work at developer community at OpenAI. Of course. So we're going to do a little community section. We've been watching all the builds that you guys had on Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. So today we're going to bring a few of these community builds and see what you think about it. Is it cooked or is it undercooked? Yeah, we even have pre-made cards for it. Yeah. It's super official. I'm ready. Don't make me use this. Fede, what are we looking at here today? So this is a very cool retro game built with GPT 6.1 saw. That's pretty cool. What do you guys think? You know, I actually think this is super impressive. It's detailed. It has the retro vibes. I am probably going to go home and recreate this myself. I'm going to say it's cooked just right. All right. We'd love to see it. Ryan? Neil Cosman, great job. You cooked here. Really well done. This is one of my favorite community builds that I think I've ever seen. Carter Church here has used Astra to actually decode a message that Napoleon had sent all the way back in the day that's remained unsolved for, I guess, what, two or three hundred years? What do you guys think? Yeah, definitely. And I already see Brian reaching for his card, so I'm going to let you go first. Napoleon could have never predicted this. This is ridiculous. You did great. Cooked. Yeah, you know, just like the cool factor on it, definitely. Opening up history for a broader audience, almost five million views. Pretty good. Perfect. So for this next one, we have a pretty cool horse racing game that went pretty viral where you draw your character and just let it run and win the race. What do you guys think? The actual game is you're drawing the horse and depending on how you draw it, makes it go faster, slower. Exactly. Yeah, figure that out. I'm going to go first on this one, especially because, you know, the guy who made it is right there. I'm going to say cooked. Do well. There's not much more to say. Double cooked. Oh, first time for that. There you go. All right, then. To close this out, we are going to do our catch of the day. Keep that in. We're going to pick our favorite builds and talk about it a little bit. So for me, it was definitely the Napoleon letter. Is that it? What was yours? Yeah, that's, I think, the coolest. I'm going to go for the first one. I liked the retro space shooting game. That's like right up my alley. I'm going to play it when I get home. And I'm loving this horse racing game, honestly. All right. Napoleon wins. Napoleon wins? Again. Again? I guess. You can't keep getting away with it. That's been the catch of the day. All right, Matt. I think the mod retro has finally loaded our game. Are you excited to see what's going on? Yeah, let's play it. All right. Let's do it. There you go. Thank you. All right. So we got the little blue dot. I got to go to the fridge. Get the soft egg this time. Yeah, for sure. Soft egg. Stir clockwise. Silky broad, perfect noodles. Nice. Better than last time. Yeah, buddy. Good job. Didn't you put an egg in there? Ah, shh. Yeah, really cool. Congrats, everyone. We did it. Yeah. All right, so Alex, we've been at this for a little bit. I smell all the delicious ingredients. I've actually gotten quite hungry. What can we do about this? Yeah, I think we got a little carried away talking about Dots and Dev Day. But I think we actually did cook something up. Didn't we say that? Yeah. I came prepared. Boom. There we go. Wow, that is beautiful. Did we cook this? We absolutely cooked this. Yes, everyone nod. I can't believe, yeah. I can't believe we did that. Yes, we cooked that. It looks beautiful. Is that it? You want to? We actually cooked with this one, boys. Look at that. Yeah, put it right on the laptop. There we go. Chopsticks right here. Smells excellent. Looks beautiful, too. I can't believe we cooked that. Matt, how is it? It's actually really good. Yeah. Oh, Danny, you're back. Where did I go? Never mind. Anyways, guys, this has been Cooked. Thank you so much for joining us, and thank you to our special guests, Matt and Brian. We had a great time, played some games, made some memories. We'll see you again next time. Thank you. I always did it my way, never did it by the book. Let me cook. Now let me cook. Just let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook. Let me cook.
